Yayasan Bursa Malaysia (YBM) Scholarship 2025/ 2026

At Bursa Malaysia, we believe that investing in education means investing in the nation’s future. Through Yayasan Bursa Malaysia, we continue our mission to empower promising young Malaysians from underprivileged backgrounds by removing financial barriers to higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

• Malaysian citizen aged below 22 years old at the time of application.
• Family household income below RM5,000 per month.
• Preference for fields such as Law, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, and Sustainability related courses.
• Has secured to a full-time undergraduate degree course at one of the universities listed:
  1. Universiti Malaya (UM)
  2. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)
  3. Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
  4. Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
  5. Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM)
  6. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
  7. Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM)
• Students who have secured the same but under the private wing of the local public universities are not eligible to apply.
• Has achieved the following results, as may be applicable:
  1. STPM: a minimum of 2As and 2Bs
  2. A-levels: a minimum of 2As and 2Bs; or
  3. Matriculation/Foundation CGPA 3.5 and above; and
  4. Malaysia University English Test (MUET); Band 4; or
  5. SPM or O-levels: distinction in Mathematic s and English
• Active in extra-curricular activities or sports; preferably holding leadership positions.
• Has excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

   2. Submit the Required Documents Please prepare clear scanned copies of the following documents for your application:
      i. Declaration and Verification of Information for the Application of Yayasan Bursa Malaysia Scholarship Programme
      ii. Recent passport-sized photograph
      iii. Copy of Identification Card (IC) of applicant and parents/ guardian
      iv. Copy of Offer Letter from institution of higher learning
      v. Latest copy of parents/ guardian salary slips or proof of income
      vi. Copy of co-curricular activities certificates/ testimonials
   3. Email Supporting Documents
      Send all required documents to YBMScholarship@bursamalaysia.com with the subject line, within 3 days from the date of form submission: [Last 4 digits of NRIC]_[First Name] – YBM Scholarship 2025/2026
