The Sarawak Energy Scholarship Programme is now open for applications until 25 MAY 2025.
Sarawakian students pursuing or looking to pursue Foundation, A-Levels, Undergraduate Degree or Postgraduate studies in top institutions locally and overseas are encouraged to apply.
Preferred fields of study are Engineering (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical), ICT (Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems), Accounting / Finance / Commerce, and Law or Economics.

Applications for 2025 Sarawak Energy Scholarship Programme Open from 21 April to 25 May 2025

Eligibility Criteria
Open to students pursuing or intending to pursue courses in preferred universities.

- Electrical Engineering (*)(**)
- Civil Engineering ** / Mechanical Engineering**
- ICT (Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems)
- Accounting / Finance / Commerce
- Green Energy / Energy Transition / Digital Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical, Clinical Psychology, Food Technology, Fine Arts, Aeronautics, and other related studies are not covered.
*Students intending to pursue these courses are highly encouraged to apply
**Programme must be accredited/recognised by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Malaysia, available here www.eac.org.my.Eligibility Criteria
Pre-U (Foundation or A-Levels) - 21 years old or below at the time of application
- Minimum 8As in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) (Trial SPM results accepted for students taking SPM in 2024)
Undergraduate Programme - 24 years old or below at the time of application
- Minimum 8As in SPM or 3.30 CGPA in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/Matriculation/Foundation/Diploma
- Not a recipient of any other scholarship or financial aid.
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent team player, excels in both extra-curricular activities and sports.
- No family member is currently a Sarawak Energy Scholarship recipient.Pre-U / Undergraduate
- Postgraduate
Application and Assessment
You may use your SPM/STPM trial result or A-Level/Matriculation latest semester results to apply.
