Please complete the PETRONAS Powering Knowledge Education Sponsorship 2025 Application Form. It will take up to 15-20 minutes. Please ensure all your information you provide are true and accurate. You are only required to fill out the sections that are relevant to you.

This application is open to Malaysian citizens only.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen NOT more than 22 years old.
• Applicant must NOT be under any other form of sponsorships.
• Applicant has NO disciplinary cases or suspension throughout studies

1. Outstanding Academic Achievements

• Undergraduate Students:
  • Currently pursuing a degree programme at a PETRONAS-approved university in the UK
  • Latest academic results equivalent to a minimum CGPA of 3.70 or First-Class Honours
  • Must have at least one full academic year remaining

OR

• Pre-University Students:
  • Have secured a conditional offer or firm acceptance to pursue a degree programme at a PETRONAS-approved university in the UK

2. Strong Leadership

We look beyond academic results. Active involvement in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, sports, competitions, community service, and leadership roles is highly valued and will strengthen your application.

3. Wholesome Assessment

• • Personality, Cognitive & Leadership Assessment (Online Assessment)
    As part of our commitment to selecting the most deserving candidates, we have designed a comprehensive online assessment to gain deeper insights into your personality, problem-solving abilities and leadership potential, including how you navigate challenges and learn through real-life experiences.

• Mid Sponsorship Interview (MSI)
  This is an online interview session conducted by our panel of PETRONAS assessors. It is designed to evaluate your behavioural traits, leadership qualities, and alignment with the values we uphold in our scholars.

This sponsorship is especially for students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, leadership, personal character and community engagement.

Each application is carefully reviewed to identify the most deserving candidates. As this is a highly competitive programme, only applicants who meet all the stated criteria will be shortlisted and considered for final selection.
